5. Make and quality. You might think that buying cheap appliances will help you save because you only have to pay a small amount. But the truth is you will end up spending more instead.

Cheap appliances are usually made from poor quality materials which mean that if you use it most of the time it won't take long before it will break down and you will end up sending it to a repair shop. The more often you have it repaired, the more money you spend.

6. Additional features. Any additional feature on your appliance is a bonus as long as it doesn't take the price sky high. Don't get swayed by these features though because some of these features may be useless. So check the features first and decide if you have any use for them. 7. Warranty. Do not buy any appliance if it doesn't have any warranty because this will serve as a guarantee that you bought the item in good condition. So in case something comes up after you bought it, as long as it is within the warranty period, you can have it repaired for free or you can have it exchanged.
